I lost him a little over two years ago, but felt that it would not please him at all if I retreated into dull colours and put away all the reds that he had so liked. So I continue to wear them, and remember him with love each time I do so.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17329384838751082032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8128981159160729349.post-39953953504557866922015-03-22T13:29:40.887+05:302015-03-22T13:29:40.887+05:30This has to be one of your best columns. It's indeed a good sign that women started shunning such ridiculous societal pressures. Every woman must realize, they greatest prison one could ever live in is the fear of what others will think!!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16476217564836866973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8128981159160729349.post-81811163152737725502015-03-22T12:35:43.175+05:302015-03-22T12:35:43.175+05:30An off beat topic that you have brought to light. ...An off beat topic that you have brought to light. No one really talks about it but yes how a woman wants to look irrespective of whether her husband is alive or not is her prerogative. It is a part of her freedom and liberty. My neighbour lost her husband in a freak accident at his work place a few yrs ago. And I cringed at the thought of seeing her without her 'Shringar' which made her look so beautiful. But till date, she dresses up the way she always did, much to my relief! She even applies sindoor on festivals like Ganpati. And I don't think this is disrespectful to her late husband in any way!

Thanks for writing about another important topic!Suman Kherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09300752412557332099noreply@blogger.com
